Ismail Durman was born in Ankara in 1982. He studied the elementary and middle school in Ankara. He graduated from Gazi University, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Industrial Engineering. At the same year he started his career as an engineer in Ulaşım A.Ş. There, he carried out the setting up of the Service Quality Management System and documentation of Service Quality Standard in Public Transportation. In 2009, he completed his master’s degree in Bahçeşehir University, Institute of Science, Department of Industrial Engineering. In 2010, he continued to work on the quality of services after beginning to work in the private sector. In 2011, he started to work in IETT in Customer Relations Unit. In November 2012, he was appointed to Strategy Development Department in Service Improvement Unit. In November 2013, he became the manager of Smart Cards Management Unit.
